Obituary of Arnold E. Dworkin

Passed away on January 8, 2018 at the age of 78. Arnold was born in Hillside, NJ. Predeceased by his parents, Dorothy & Jack; wife, Linda; son, Gary & brother, Rabbi Fredric Dworkin. Survived by his son, David (Wendy); grandchildren, Spencer and Arabella; and devoted friends, Anthony Pastore and William Thomas. Arnold served in the US Coast Guard and was a Mason for over 55 years and a member of Masonic Lodge #80 in Lyndhurst, NJ. 

The family thanks the doctors & nurses who have taken care of Arnold over many years including the Jewish Home of Rochester 5th floor care team & the Strong Sussman Palliative Care Unit that provided Arnold with compassionate Hospice Care.

Funeral Services will be held on WEDNESDAY, January 10, 2018 at 11 AM in the Sanctuary of Temple Beth El, 139 Winton Road S. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends at Temple Beth El on WEDNESDAY, January 10th from 7–9 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the University of Rochester Sussman Palliative Care Unit (41200)-Office of Advancement, PO Box 278996, 300 East River Road, Roch., NY 14627 or the University of Rochester Alzheimer & Dementia Care Center in Arnold's memory.
