Obituary of Ruth V. Zax

Passed away on December 31, 2017, at the age of 93. Survived by her husband, Dr. Melvin Zax; children, Karen (Marvin) Gould, June (Robert) Kailes; step-children, Jeffrey (Judith), David (Marcia) & Jonathan (Ratih) Zax; grandchildren, Amy Traywick, Heather Kline, Kent Gould; step-grandchildren, Jacob, Talya, Benjamin, Rachael, Aryeh & Nadia Zax; 4 great grandchildren; niece, Susan Boggs; nephews, Josh Tolin & Joel Stecker.

Ruth sat on the Monroe County Mental Health Board, the Board of Directors at Highland Hospital, Secretary for the Wegmans Foundation and was an Administrator for many years at the Primary Mental Health Project at the University of Rochester.

Funeral Services will be held on TUESDAY, January 2, 2018 at 10 AM in The All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park. Interment to follow.
