Obituary of Gloria LuKacher

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 20, 2017, at the age of 86. Predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Nettie Oberstein; and sisters, Harriet Basson and Shirley Zegarek. Survived by her husband of 64 years, Martin LuKacher; sons, Aron (Saundra Schoicket) Lukacher, Joel (Marjorie) Lukacher and Kenneth (Leba) LuKacher; grandchildren, David Lukacher, Anna Lukacher, Avi Lukacher, Ilana (Doron) Yashar, Sarah Lukacher and Benjamin Lukacher; great-grandchildren, Moshe, Amitai and Noa; brother, Sidney (Evelyn) Oberstein; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Gloria was born in the Bronx. She was a proud graduate of Brooklyn College in 1953. Gloria was a lifetime member of Hadassah.

Funeral Services will be held on WEDNESDAY, November 22, 2017 at 1 PM in The Main Sanctuary of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Road South).

Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.

The family will sit Shiva at 70 Aberthaw Road on Wednesday from 5 – 7 PM, Thursday from 10 AM – 12 PM and Friday from 1 – 3 PM.
