Obituary of Esther Parsky (Mandwelle)

Passed away on August 24, 2017, at the age of 96. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jacob Parsky; sister, Gertrude Moskowitz; brother-in-law, Joseph Moskowitz; brothers, Arnold Mandwelle & Jacob Mandwelle. Survived by her daughter, Shari Parsky of San Diego, CA; son, Keith (Michelle) Parsky of Bethesda, MD; grandsons, Jacob, Alexander & Torres; daughter, Marsha Dror of Coral Springs, FL; her grandson, Gil Dror; her great-granddaughter, Isabel Dror; granddaughter, Sandy (Harlan) Brody; great-grandsons, Morgan and Miles Brody; daughter, Paula (Wolf Krakowski) Parsky of Northampton, MA; nephews, Bernard (Edith) Moskowitz of Miami, FL, Dr. Bruce (Marsha) Moskowitz of Palm Beach, FL; niece, Faye Moskowitz of North Carolina; nephews, Richard (Kim) Feldman of Greece, NY, John & Peter Mandwelle of Glens Falls, NY; niece, Lee (William) Mandwelle Roberts of Glens Falls, NY; nephew, Elliot (Linda Trozzolino) Mandwelle of Beverly Hills, CA; nieces, Karen (Steven) Mandwelle Caplan of Baltimore, MD & Maureen Mandwelle Brodie of Charlotte, NC.

Esther remained very connected to friends and family, both in Florida & Rochester. She was gracious and full of love.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 1 PM at Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.). Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Ellwanger Estate, 625 Mt. Hope Ave. on Wednesday from 3-5 PM and Thursday and Friday from 2-5 PM.

Donations may be made to World ORT, Hadassah, Amit Women or City of Hope in Esther’s memory.
